Blackstone Valley Community Health Care, Inc. (BVCHC) mission is to provide high quality affordable care, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay, while improving the health status of the population in the lower Blackstone Valley, especially those with the most complex set of medical, behavioral and social needs.

To achieve this mission, their newest facility, the Blackstone Valley Neighborhood Health Station, is a new 4 story (including basement) medical building, approximately 46,368 square feet located in Central Falls on the site of the former Notre Dame Hospital. The construction is comprised of a structural steel frame with metal deck/concrete slab floors and metal deck/concrete slab roof.

The building envelope consists of metal stud framed exterior walls with brick veneer and E.F.I.S. as well as a glazed aluminum curtain walls/storefront. The building is fully sprinklered with manual standpipes and a municipally connected fire alarm system.

This new medical facility contains a Call Center, Meeting Room, Urgent Care Suite, and Lifespan Lab (1st floor), MHRI Suite (1st Floor), Dental Suite (2nd Floor), Medical Outpatient Suite (2nd Floor); a Behavioral Health Suite and a Medical Outpatient Suite (3rd Floor).

Portions of this facility opened in February 2019; the entire facility was fully operational in May 2019.
